On Tuesday, May 24th, 2016 at approximately 4:00 a.m. members of the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the parking lot area of 45 Manchester Avenue, St. Catharines in response to a robbery that just occurred.
Upon arrival, police learned that a male taxi driver was attacked by a male brandishing a gun while he was demanding money.
The suspect male then fled the scene on foot and he was located and arrested a short time later in the area.
The victim sustained no injuries as a result of the robbery.
21 year old Jahrell LUNGS is being charged with Robbery and Fail to comply with Probation Order and he will be held in custody pending a Bail Hearing on May 27th, 2016.
