On May 20, 2016 at 11:15 a.m., the Guelph Police were called to Bristol Street for a disturbance. Police met with a female outside the residence and learned she had been attacked by a male that was known to her. The female sustained minor injuries. Investigation into the incident led to a male being arrested.
A 35-year-old Guelph man has been charged with attempt murder, aggravated assault, assault x 2, utter threats x 4, mischief x 2, and breach of probation. He will appear in court on May 24, 2016.
