Police seeking assistance identifying two men in Fraud investigation

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance identifying two men wanted in a fraud investigation.

It is reported that:

– on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 a unknown man entered a bank in the York Mills Road and Leslie Street area

– he deposited a cheque into the victim’s account

– the bank notified the victim that the cheques deposited where fraudulent

– the man was described as brown, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes, black moustache and was wearing a black jacket

It is further reported that:

– on Friday, January 8, 2016 another unknown man entered a bank in the Sheppard Avenue East and Markham Road area

– this man deposited another cheque into the victim’s account

– the bank notified the victim that the cheques deposited where fraudulent

– the man was described as brown, dark complexion, slim build, tall, with wavy black hair and was wearing a tanned coloured jacket
