On Tuesday May 24, 2016 at approximately 8:00pm, Hamilton Police were notified that a young girl had been sexually assaulted. The incident occurred after the child victim was lured inside the offender’s residence in the McQuesten neighbourhood in the City of Hamilton.
Detectives in the Hamilton Police Service – Child Abuse Branch continued the investigation and on May 25th, 2016 identified and arrested this male. The male was held in custody and will be appearing in court on May 26th, 2016 for a Bail Hearing.
CHARGED: Patrick BEDELL – 74 years of Hamilton
CHARGES: Sexual Assault, Sexual Interference, and Invitation to Sexual Touching
