The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance with an armed robbery investigation.
It is reported that:
– on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at 11:30 p.m., a 31-year-old man and 31-year-old woman were sitting in their parked car, in a parking lot, on the northwest corner of Leslie Street and Sheppard Avenue East
– a man opened the door and pointed a firearm at them
– they were ordered by the man to get out of the car and walk away
– at this time, the man entered the car and removed a quantity of personal property
– the man fled on foot in an unknown direction
He was described as black, 6’1″-6’3″, approximately 35, large build, clean-shaven, last seen wearing a dark-grey hooded sweater.
The Toronto Police Service is asking the public to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activities or persons in this area to the police.
The Toronto Police Service will have increased uniform patrols in this area.
