Hamilton Detectives continue to investigate an armed robbery

Detectives continue to investigate an armed robbery that took place on Tuesday April 26, 2016 just shortly before 9:00pm at the Paradise Market located on Upper Paradise Road.

A male suspect entered the establishment, presented what was believed to be a handgun and began making demands for cash. The suspect was able to obtain an undisclosed amount of cash before exiting the store.

Investigation revealed that the suspect was last seen entering a green coloured 4 door sedan to escape from the area of the robbery. There is no description of the second suspect that drove the escape vehicle.

The suspect is described as male white, 5’7″, thin build, 20-25 years of age, wearing a black hooded sweater with the hood up, a black mask with only the eyes showing, dark blue jeans, black shoes with white soles and black gloves

An image of the suspect has now been obtained and is attached. Police are hoping that someone recognizes something about the suspect to assist with their investigation.
