A 46-year-old male has been charged in connection with a serious collision that occurred in Oshawa last March.
On Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 9:40 p.m. officers investigated a three-car collision on Olive Avenue at Wilson Road South. Investigators determined the white Dodge Challenger, which didn’t stop for a red light, was travelling at more than 150 km/h when it struck the blue pickup truck. The driver of the Challenger and the three occupants of the pickup truck have been released from hospital.
On Friday, May 27, 2016, the driver of the Challenger turned himself in to investigators.
Edward MEULEMEESTER, age 46, of Guelph Street in Oshawa, is charged with: Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Cause Bodily Harm x3 and Owner Operate Motor Vehicle on a Highway – No Insurance. He was later released an Undertaking with conditions.
